To put an end to this problem, the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife recently requested the realization of a study to know the exact potential of fauna in the Sudan Savanna region in particular. To harmonize the choice of methodology, 30 experts from Cameroon and Chad recently met in Garoua. The aim of this workshop being to restitute and validate a document which will harmonize the method of wildlife survey in the Savanna ecosystem of North Cameroon.
